I felt it necessary to have a post on how to declutter here at Mission Life Motion. This is something that’s been on my mind a lot lately. I’ve been trying to find a balance of sorts, between the various areas of my life which I consider to be my priorities.
Finding balance, as you can imagine, has been extremely difficult. However recently I have felt like I’m getting a grasp on it, and I believe I’ve found a winning formula.
I’m an ambitious guy, always have been, although I’ll say that I seem to get more ambitious the older I get. I have realized that, on a day to day basis, I have about 8 areas of focus I want to devote my time and attention to.
Here they are (note: this is just my list, yours might be different):
1.) Working on this Blog (Mission Life Motion).
2.) Reading Blog Articles (or listening to Podcasts).
3. The Gym (Lifting Weights).
4.) Spending about 20 minutes a day making sure I’m up to speed on my money and finances.
5.) Training myself to be a better in sales (at Cardone University).
6.) Listening to books on Audible, or reading them.
7.) Spending an hour of my day doing something to improve my sex or love life.
This could be anything from reading Roosh V Material, to reading Chateau Heartiste articles (I just discovered this blog believe it or not), to swiping on Tinder, or just making cold approaches. There’s a lot you can do here, but I feel it deserves daily attention (even after you find your Geisha, because at that point it just becomes quality time spent with her).
8.) Running and operating my business (my other business).
So these are the 8 priorities I have i n my life currently, in a year my list might be slightly different, who knows.
There are 24hours in day, 7 of those hours for me are spent sleeping, and then another 7 of them go towards the first 7 items on this list above, 9 hours go towards running/operating my business, and whats left over go towards cooking/eating dinner, and relaxing. I do this 5 days a week, and Saturdays and Sunday are spent getting caught up on any of those that I fall behind on during the week.
The point is: you need to figure out what your daily priorities are. If this is a new concept to you, IE the idea of getting your life organized or your priorities in order, then my advice to you is this: start with something simple, not something complex. So for example my daily action plan outlined above, is an example of one a bit complex.
For a younger guy, I suggest something more focused. More specifically: you should probably only focus on 3 daily priorities instead 8 like me, 4 MAX. This is especially true if you’re younger (ages 18-26 or so).
Why? Because you want to get VERY proficient at just 3 things in the early years, as opposed to 7 or 8 of them. Once you get very proficient in those 3 areas, you can allow yourself a little room later on to add more specific daily action tasks, like I did.
I’ll give you a hint here. The 3 areas in which you should hurl ALL of your focus and attention into, as as follows:
1.) Making Money (building a business, developing and sticking to a budget, sales training etc.).
2.) Your Physical Appearance and Health (going to the gym, eating right, losing and maintaining your weight) and:
3.) Spending 2-3 Hours Of Your Day Doing Something To Improve Your Sex Or Love Life.
Again, this could be reading Roosh V Material, to reading Chateau Heartiste or Good Looking Loser articles, or making cold approaches in public.
To be honest these 3 blogs are all you need. There are tons and tons and tons of blog and sites devoted to teaching you how to be PUA. Don’t bother with these, its information overload anyway, stick to those 3 blogs and you’ll learn everything there is to know.
If you have a girlfriend then this can just be quality time spent with her. Although I’ll say you never want to get too comfortable with your relationship. You should always be at least casually learning ways to make the relationship better.
When I give these suggestions, understand that I am speaking to the demographic that is most likely to be reading this blog: men, ages 21-35, who are motivated and want more out of life. For the most part, that is who I am speaking to.
So you want to keep your focus on life’s 3 major areas: Wealth, Health, and Social/Relationships.
1.) Making money and building a business,
2.) Lifting weights and eating right, and
3.) Attracting women (in this order).
Although as discussed in a previous article, I actually think that attracting women should take priority if you’re a guy in his early-mid 20’s.
But focus on these 3 areas every day of your life, 7 days a week, and the quality of your life will drastically start to improve. Extract from these 3 areas, about 4 specific daily tasks that you can do (if you’re between the ages of 18-26). If you’re older, that daily list of specific tasks can probably be expanded to include about 7-8 items.
So Here’s An Example Of Daily Action Tasks:
1.) Work on or in your business and keep building it up (Money).
2.) Sales Training at Cardone University (maybe at the moment you own a business that runs off of sales) (Money again).
3.) Go the gym and lift weights (Health/Body).
4.) 1-2 Hours split between cold approaches, the game blogs I mentioned above, and a little time on Tinder or something (Attracting Women).
These are just examples. Do whatever works for you, but strive to make sure what you’re spending your time on falls within these 3 categories of wealth, health, and social/relationships.
The main key here is discipline, not the necessarily the actual management of each day’s minutes. You have to have a certain level of self discipline to know that you can realistically carry these tasks out each day. Remember what Steven Covey (Author: The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People) said:
If self discipline is an area you need help, then the best place I can point you to is right here.
Let me know how all these suggestions work out for you.
